Their Story
The Movement Centre is a specialist children’s charity dedicated to transforming the lives of children with movement disabilities. Through their unique Targeted Training therapy, they support children and families on journeys many are told may never be possible — helping children work towards independence, confidence and achieving their own milestones.
The Achievement
Over the past year, The Movement Centre has reached its highest level of impact in many years, currently supporting 48 children with a further eight families preparing to begin therapy. Every child receives fully funded specialist physiotherapy, ensuring no family is excluded due to financial barriers. Alongside this growth, the charity has expanded its expert team, launched the innovative KITE Project in partnership with Aston University, and laid plans to open an outreach centre in Birmingham to reach even more families.
