“Every day is a chance to be better than yesterday.”
Their Story
Jack Dawson is an extraordinary ten-year-old with a passion for saving lives. From the age of four, Jack began learning vital life-saving skills such as CPR, the recovery position, and how to use a defibrillator—and he hasn’t stopped sharing that knowledge since. Despite recently being diagnosed with two lipoma tumours in his brain, which cause severe migraines and vision problems, Jack continues to smile and focus on helping others.
The Achievement
Jack has dedicated himself to teaching both children and adults life-saving skills completely free of charge. Through talks at clubs, groups, events, and training days, as well as his own Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok channels, Jack confidently demonstrates techniques that genuinely save lives. His impact is already real—one viewer even credited Jack’s teaching with helping them save someone the very next day.
The Impact
Working alongside the charity Tamworth Has a Heart, Jack helps ensure local defibrillators are rescue-ready and regularly teaches others how to use them—often being specially requested to lead sessions. Jack’s fearlessness, kindness, and determination inspire his community and prove that age is no barrier to making a powerful difference. His dream of becoming a paramedic feels not just possible, but inevitable.
